To Whatever May Be Out There,
When I'm lacking in strength, lend me Your hand
When I am clouded in ignorance, guide me to wisdom
When I am taken over by fear, lead me towards love
And when I doubt that You are there, send me reminders
Thank you.

God is dog poop?
"I'd like to say we are in the shift to the place where everything is God, pantheism. The understanding that has come from mysticism and from people on the cusp of periods moving from past to present, people talking about primary experience, is that the body and the soul cannot be separated. It shouldn't be that they should be fighting one another, that you have too get rid of one in order to get the other. We want Wholeness, a holistic understanding, now. I believe that people are moving from theism to pantheism. There are some who don't like the word pantheism, the idea that God is everything. They prefer the word panentheism, which means that God is in everything. I, however, don't think that the distinction is real. What was the objection that people had to pantheism, God is everything? "Are you going to tell me that the excrement of a dog is also God?" And the answer to this would be "Yes." What is wrong with that? It is only from the human perspective that we see a difference between that and challah. On the sub molecular level, on the atomic level, they all look the same. And if you look from a galactic perspective, what difference is there between one and the other? So if "God is everything," why are you and I here? Because we are the appearance of God in this particular form. And God likes to appear in countless forms and experience countless lives. If you would have mentioned this point of view when theism was dominant, you might have been killed. The theists would complain, "What you are saying is that there are no differences anymore? Does that mean that everything is right, everything is kosher? Where are the differences?" And those are good questions. We are not so far advanced yet that we can explain all these things, but deep down, the deepest level of the pattern is that God is everything. So it's not that God created the world but that God became the world."

On the ego
“For it is the ego's fundamental doctrine that what you do to others you have escaped. The ego wishes no one well. Yet its survival depends on your belief that you are exempt from its intentions. It counsels, therefore, that if you are host to it, it will enable you to direct its anger outward, thus protecting you. . . . the more anger you invest outside yourself, the safer you become."

From Brother Che
"It is a profound error...to believe that it is out of 'moderation' or 'moderate self-interest' that great inventions or artful masterpieces come about. For all great tasks, passion is needed, and for the revolution, passion and audacity are needed in large doses, things we have as a human group."

Words From the Self: The Call
Thus spoke the great "I AM" to the sons and daughters of humankind:
Rise, prophets! Rise, soothsayers! Rise, leaders and visionaries! Your time is now. Step into the inheritance that belongs rightfully to you, and all that you will shall be accomplished. The world tells you that your Voice is too small to be heard, but within you is a Light so grand and magnificent in strength that not even the gates of hell can stand against it. Verily, verily, I say unto you, ask, and you shall receive. Seek, and you shall find. Knock, and the door shall be opened unto you.
There is no great Enemy, no Satan, no deceiver. Your only "enemy"is the darkness within your own heart, which you have thrown a veil over and tried to deny, transforming it into the demons that now haunt you. Your worst nightmares, your deepest fears, these are the things that you believe stand between you and the Light. But these fears are but illusions, dreams within a dream. Nothing can stand between you and the Light, for verily, verily I say unto you, you ARE the Light. And the Light is eternal, because Its Source is eternal. The Source of the Light and the Light itself cannot be separated, because they are One.
All forgiveness is yours. All love is yours. All perfection, all holiness, all beauty, all strength, all wisdom, all knowledge, all hope, all joy, all faith . . .these things are yours, because they are what you ARE.
I AM in you. In this knowledge, find peace and rejoice.

Relative Truth?
People argue this point all the time. That truth is a subjective notion, that there is no such thing as an absolute.
Yet, by uttering the statement, "Truth is subjective" haven't I just uttered an ABSOLUTE concerning the nature of truth? Haven't I basically said, "Without exception, truth is ALWAYS changing, depending on the beholder." Which makes one wonder how what we call "truth" can actually BE truth, if truth, by its very nature, is that which does not change (otherwise, how could it be the truth?). I'll sooner say "truth does not exist" before I'll say it's "relative."
However, I will say that our PERCEPTIONS of truth are relative. And it is for this reason that we must be careful in declaring what we "know to be true" and what we "know not to be." It has been said over and over again by wiser folks than I that it behooves us to examine what we, as human beings, have in common amongst our differences. It will be those things that guide us down the path towards better understanding.
I believe in absolute truth. There are certain things that just ARE, whether I want them to be true or not. But the scope of this truth is very small. Everything else is colored by my perception, my memories, my current belief system--which are all tools through which I can access the truth.
LOVE and FEAR. Those are absolute truths as I see it. Love and fear is something that we all have experienced deeply in one form or another. They are the most universal aspects of the human condition, as far as I can tell.
The choices we make in life are either rooted in love or rooted in fear. Everything else is just decoration.
